Sharing The Same Brain
H oly shit,â Gemma said. âThatâs exactly the right phrase. Youâre lucky I didnât start masturbating while you were telling that story.â
I didnât react right away.
âGreat, youâre imagining it now, arenât you?â
I blushed because I was picturing her playing with herself. âNo, IâI just couldnât think of a witty comeback. You caught me flat-footed.â
âSo, I have to ask againâyouâre not messing with me, right? This is all true?â
âEvery word. Why would I make this up?â
âI donât know. To see me get all twisted up over it? You should write a book.â
âYeah, right.â
âSeriously. This stuff is hot.â
âWell, Iâm not going to write a book about my sex life. Besides, you donât know how this story ends.â
âWell, I know youâre still alive, so nobody boils your bunny, and I got to meet the most interesting friend Iâve ever had. So, thereâs that. But I totally understand why you reacted the way you did that first day in the coffee shop when I used your phone to text mine. And for the record, I donât blame you. That would have freaked me out, too, so, retroactively, Iâm sorry.â
âApology accepted in arrears. Now, change of subject. Are you going to the gym tomorrow?â
âYes, but I have to go early. I have meetings in the afternoon.â
âBummer, I canât meet early. I have a call with a team in Europe at six.â
She patted my knee. âNo worries, Iâll get a hold of you sometime later this week and see what youâre up to. But now I have to go. I have some stuff to do this afternoon.â
I walked her to the door and thanked her again for the shake. It had me feeling a hundred and ten percent better. She gave me a hug, and I watched her hips sway as she walked to her car, her shapely ass looking like perfection in her running shorts. I saw my neighbor across the street pause what he was doing and ogle her as she got into her car and drove away. I think he mouthed âwowâ before returning to the project in his garage. Or, maybe I imagined it because thatâs what I was thinking.
I returned to the living room and lay back down on the couch, thinking about the next few âchaptersâ of the story. Gemma was right, they were pretty hot. In the few weeks between things ending with Pete and Kim, and meeting Gemma, I was truly alone. I had relived the events that were coming up in this tale several times, using them to pleasure myself when I felt low. Maybe there could be a book in there somewhere. If I got myself off thinking about my adventures, possibly others would if they read about them. I was a writer, after all. I pushed that thought out of my head and let my fingers drift down to my pussy, feeling the hair that was starting to grow back. Iâd need to go get waxed soon.
I absently tickled and teased my lips, spreading them apart and feeling the wetness between them.
